CIP4: Instructions for the machine

Previously, when workers received an order, they had to examine the drawings themselves, calculate the dimensions, and manually enter the data into the paper cutter – a time-consuming process that was also prone to errors.

With CIP4, pre-press files (such as PDF,JDF) are sent directly to the paper cutter. The system can parse JDF files generated during pre-press. It then generates an optimized cutting plan with visual animation guidance, reducing setup time to virtually zero and ensuring error-free operation. All the operator needs to do is follow the on-screen instructions.

A: 1. Pre-startup checks
Before commencing operation, the following checks must be carried out:
• Check that the machine is properly powered
• Check that the hydraulic system is operating smoothly

2. Loading paper
